What can I expect at my first physiotherapy appointment?
We will greet you in the Red Fire Gym lobby. Before we begin, you will need to fill out some paperwork. then, you will spend 1 hour with a physical therapist one-on-one. We will perform an assessment of your injury or area of pain and begin treatment right away. After your appointment, we will answer any additional questions you have, discuss scheduling additional appointments and collect payment.

What can I expect at my first postpartum appointment?

What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable, loose fitting or exercise wear and tennis shoes. We like to see the area we are treating. If you have a knee or hip injury, shorts are preferred. A short sleeve shirt is preferred for elbow injuries and a tank top is preferred for shoulder injuries.
Can I bring my baby?
Yes! We want to discuss timing with you before you bring your baby in. We have a small, private treatment room that is directly across from a gym area. This can get somewhat noisy. We are happy schedule your appointment around gym classes, if sound is a sensitivity.
